We all have our routines. Every morning I make coffee, make eggs, eat exactly one toast with jam and go online to Gchat Flo. There is no better way for me to start my day, than with two simple words: Hi Ti.

Flo called me Ti, short for Tina or Tinchen. And when he said it, my whole world just lightened up a bit. My second favorite thing he said sometimes was: “That’s my little sister”, whenever he was proud of me. People say that there is no one in this world that will ever love you as unconditionally as your mom. That is because they weren’t lucky enough to have Flo as a brother.

Florian was a way better person than most of us combined. He loved traveling and the Asian culture. He was very intelligent and helped anyone who was in need. At Georgetown University, he was the President of Unicef and the heart and soul of the MSBTC. He spent every night at the Tombs. After graduation, he worked at Accenture and was a great consultant. Although he accomplished more than I could ever dream of, he had so much more to offer to the world. What really breaks my heart is that Florian really wanted to have children some day. He would have been the best dad that ever set foot on this planet.
