Homegoing’s Privacy Policy pertains only to our Web site, products and services that are owned and operated by Homegoing Inc. We may have links or ads from other websites but those sites are owned and operated by other companies and may have different privacy policies. I. What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, input information for your profile, comment, rate, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or respond to a survey and/or questionnaire.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number or credit card information. You may also be asked information regarding your loved one including and not limited to: wake, funeral, repast, and final resting place information. If you are a funeral director, we will collect information about your business and services. We will also collect information in regards to your ratings and comments from former clients. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

When you create a profile for either your funeral home or loved one, you will have the opportunity to submit photos and provide other information (name, wake, obituary, services description and other information) about your loved one, funeral home, other loved ones, and/or your experiences. We collect and store this information.

We collect information about the transactions you conduct with our business partners and vendors, including information about your use of products and services.

We keep track of some of the actions you take on Homegoing, such as adding other loved ones and funeral home as a connections or uploading a photo, commenting, rating a funeral home or purchasing gifts. In some cases we track when you provide information or content to us. For instance, if you share a photo, in addition to storing the actual content you uploaded, we might log the fact that you shared it on the updates tab of other connected partners.

We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Homegoing cookie information, and the pages you request.

II. What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

- To personalize your experience: your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs and provide you with access to products, services, and/or gifts that may be displayed as ads.

- To improve our website: we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you. We also use web analytics to monitor site activity, interactions with third parties, and ad and gift center performance. We want to customize and maximize your experience within our site’s capacity and third party affiliations.

III. How you can access your information

If you manage an online account with us, you have the ability to review and update your personal information or the information of your loved one or funeral home online by logging into your account and clicking on Settings. More information about how to contact us is provided below. If you have an online account with us, you also may delete or disable your account at any time by visiting the "Settings" page for your account. If you delete or disable your account, we may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, enforce our terms and conditions, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our website or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties' policies.

You can connect with other loved ones or funeral homes.

-Deactivating or deleting your account.

If you want to deactivate your account, we may simply deactivate the account for you but we will not delete it in case you want to reactivate your account. If you do not pay the yearly maintenance fee for your account, we will deactivate your account until the payment is received.

VII. How we protect your data?

Homegoing takes extensive technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data against manipulation, either accidentally or deliberately, from being lost, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties. We are constantly improving these precautions as technology develops. Your personal and traffic data can only be accessed by authorized employees of Homegoing who need to have access to this data in order to be able to fulfill their given duties.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information that is not public to outside parties without your consent.

X. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
